The Early Season tournament entry forms are now up on the tennis notice board  for men's singles, ladies' singles, men's doubles, ladies' doubles, Bevin’s mixed and over 40s.

                The closing date for entries is Tuesday 16th April at 8.00 pm. There is an entry fee per event of £2.50 per person. If you enter 4 or more events then one entry is free. Envelopes have been placed               on the notice board for your use.  Please note that entry fees must be paid prior to the draw on Wednesday 17th April.

                The finals day for the Early Season tournament is Sunday 23rd June and for the Late Season tournament ( over 40s) is Sunday 22nd September.

                Entrants must be available to play on the designated finals day between 10am and 7pm.
                Times will be set by the tournament committee between 10am and 7pm and will be non-negotiable.

Tennis Club Home Information

With seven courts the Club offers a wide range of social and team tennis. Whatever your age or ability the tennis section will have something for you. With members from 4 to 70 we pride ourselves on being a truly family club.

Thanks to funding from the LTA and Sport England we now have two new artificial clay courts (officially opened May 9^th 2010 – click on new courts icon for further details.)

The Club is now privileged to be one of the few in the area to offer Astroturf, artificial clay and hard courts.

Adult tennis
For those looking to play competitive tennis we offer a variety of tournaments and enter teams in both summer and winter leagues. (Click on competitive tennis for more details.)

Junior tennis
You are never too young to start out in tennis and consequently we offer tennis sessions for those aged 4 and above. Whether your aim is to improve general ball and co-ordination skills or you hope to produce the next Wimbledon champion we have sessions suitable for your child.
