About Us

Formed in 1941, Blossomfield Cricket Club (playing as Solihull Blossomfield) has seen many years of success in its long and proud history. Over the years Blossomfield has become one of the most recognisable cricketing names in club cricket winning many honours and developing county standard cricketers along the way.
We are looking forward to the 2017 season, after a successful 2016, with our 1sts and 3rd XIs being promoted and the 2nds just missing out. Our 1st XI is now in Division 1 of the Warwickshire Cricket League (WCL).
For the first time in our history, we are entering a Saturday 4th XI into the WCL, which will give our talented youth cricketers the opportunity to play senior cricket.
In addition, we have a Sunday XI in the Arden League and a T20 side in the Shirley Midweek League.

The development of young cricketers in our Boys and Girls Junior Sections, remains a strong priority, and these sections have flourished in recent years, under the expert coaching of our qualified coaches, producing several county and district players – and we encourage their involvement in senior cricket at the earliest opportunity.
Additionally, to support the progression of our senior cricket, Steve Perryman and Phil Oliver have been appointed as senior coaches. With such high-calibre coaches out our disposable, Blossomfield Cricket Club is standing out as one of the best places for juniors and seniors alike to play their cricket in the Midlands.

With over 800 members, our club not only offers a great place to play cricket with excellent sports facilities, it also offers a wonderfully exciting place to socialise. Incorporating all ages and backgrounds, it is part of our club ethos to encourage participation in various social events, such as our quiz, bbq, poker nights, an annual Bonfire and Firework Night and our Cricket Dinner.
